Ecstatic Dance Algarve

Aloha! Welcome, Olaaa, Hola & Greetings!

Please email Geraldinemana(at)proton.me to be addewd to the waiting list for upcoming events.

April is now fully booked.

Come dance with us on Saturday, 12th of April, from 18.30 to 21.30 for our monthly Women's Full Moon Ecstatic Dance

This month due to popular demand we begin with a Shamanic Cacao Journey.

You will gain clarity on what you'd like to manifest and clear the pathway to creating what you love.

If you have a problem that you're dealing with, we'll look at the root emotion, or block which is preventing you from moving forward with ease.

You'll also meet your 'future self', who has already manifested what you want (and so much more). You will receive guidance from this parallel/future version of you. You will also receive CLEAR 'next steps', so that afterwards, you will effortlessly be able to take action to create what your heart and soul want you to manifest.

New To Cacao or Shamanism?

It's fine if you've never experienced a Shamanic Journey, or a Cacao Ceremony before.

Geraldine will gently guide you through the steps, and she'll be happy to chat with you afterwards. So if you have questions, or if you'd like more guidance, that is on hand.

The cacao is a powerful, gentle plant medicine which opens the heart, and allows you to receive visions, while being 100% totally 'in control'. It is the best cacao on the planet (Keith's Cacao). It is 100% organic, sourced ethically, and with all the 'good stuff' remaining. This ensures a powerful, fun journey.

The drink is made with coco milk, cardamom, cinnamon and chilli - if you don't like, or you are intolerant to any of those ingredients, just let us know in advance.

You can check the testimonials here, and Geraldine's 'about' page here for more info.

These journeys are powerful, gentle and profound.

They deliver 'real world' results - especially when you DO take the action/s that your future self guides you to take.

These are interesting times, hence this addition to April's meeting, so that you can move out of spring, into summer, clear, and excited to create the new.

What Is Ecstatic Dance?

This is a traditional Ecstatic Dance event, inspired by the one founded over 20 years ago at Kalani, Big Island, Hawaii.

It’s a safe space for free-flowing movement, guided by the DJ and sometimes additional facilitators.

Participants will embark on musical journeys, experiencing a diverse soundscape of rhythms from across the world, genres, and eras - from ancient to modern.

Ecstatic Dance is an intentional dance practice. We gather to dance, following certain traditional guidelines to keep the energy focused on exploring music through movement, and to create a judgment-free environment for self-expression.

Each session begins with an opening circle, where we review Ecstatic Dance traditions and set the tone through an invocation - be it an intention, prayer, performance, or interactive activity. The intention is fun, and it's yoru choice whether you want to join or not.

However, to maintain an intentional space, we follow key Ecstatic Dance traditions, as follows:

No talking on or around the dance floor, barefoot (feel free to bring socks, or indoor dance shoes - no shoes in the actual venue), no cameras/phones/recordings (there will be one allocated, respectful photographer, mainly focusing on the DJ/Facilitator for promo. If you do NOT want photos taken of you, please do let us know), no alcohol, drugs or smoking.

As the dance transitions through the adventure, eventually into stillness, we end with a closing circle to connect as a community.

Children must be supervised at all times and may not roam the property unaccompanied.

All welcome to respect this space of no judgement, as we embark on this shared movement adventure.
